Major League Baseball has unveiled the new spring training uniforms, and both the Cubs and White Sox are paying homage to the past.

For their black caps, the White Sox are sticking with the white batter logo, first introduced in 1976. The team also used this logo last spring.

The Cubs are switching the cap logo to the scowling Cubbie logo, first seen on a Cubs uniform sleeve in 1979.

Otherwise, both teams uniforms are similar to last spring’s.

All MLB spring uniforms and caps also feature the highway-road-sign logos with the state initials (AZ or FL), which was introduced last year.

Cubs and WhiteSox pitchers and catchers report to spring training on Feb. 14.
