Panda Express is giving away tasty gifts to mark the Chinese New Year.
The chain is celebrating the Year of the Rooster by giving away red envelopes, known as hong bao, containing coupons for free food. The envelopes symbolize good luck for the coming year.
Go to CelebrateCNY.com to get or send a virtual red envelope with an offer for a free Gold Bar (Chicken Egg Roll), which is a symbol for wealth.
Redeem the coupon in restaurants on Feb. 8.
The company launched the website to honor the rich history and traditions of Chinese culture as part of its “Celebrate Togetherness” campaign, according to a release.
