The Montgomery Police Department is continuing to investigate the shooting death of an Aurora man in the village last week.
Terelle A. Suggs, 20, of the 900 block of New Haven Avenue, was shot once in the head during a drive-by shooting Jan. 13 at Orchard Road and Jericho Road in Montgomery, according to police. He was transported to Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora and then airlifted to Loyola Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Suggs, along with three passengers, were driving northbound on Orchard when a vehicle pulled alongside them and shot several rounds into Suggs’ vehicle, according to police.
The Montgomery Police Department Investigations Division is continuing to investigate the shooting and are attempting to identify witnesses.
