Butterfield & Robinson has built an intimate trip — its first in Bermuda — around the experience, limited to 20 guests. Activities during the six-day itinerary June 23-28 include soaking up the racing action from a 61-foot, privately chartered boat, as well as exploring some of the British territory’s 181 islands by land and by sea. Guests stay at the Fairmont Southampton on Bermuda’s south shore, home to miles of pink-sand beaches.
B&R co-founder George Butterfield grew up in Bermuda. For much of the trip, he’ll be tagging along with guests, who will have dinner at Butterfield’s family home on the final night. Prices start at $8,495 a person and include lodging, guides, most meals and wine; www.butterfield.com/trip/bermuda-americas-cup.
