An Aurora man was killed Sunday and another man wounded in a shooting in Melrose Park.
According to a news release, Melrose Park police received a complaint around 2:40 p.m. Sunday about drug dealing at 12th Avenue and Winston Drive; officers were led to a home in the 1200 block of Winston, where they found one person dead and another with a minor gunshot wound to the head.
A man identified as Anthony Scott, 24, who lived in the 1200 block of Andover Circle in Aurora, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:17 p.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Scott died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, the office determined after an autopsy Monday.

Police said they have reason to believe the incident was not random and are working with the West Suburban Major Crimes Task Force on the investigation.
A couple people of interest were in custody Monday, a police spokesman said.
