A 22-year-old Aurora man accused of selling about half a gram of cocaine to an undercover police officer last year now faces felony charges, according to police.

Khaleel Bryant is accused of selling 0.47 grams of rock cocaine to an undercover Aurora officer at about 12:25 p.m. April 26 in a parking lot on the 900 block of North Lake Street, police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said in an email. Bryant was arrested on a warrant Jan. 5 at the Will County Jail, Ferrelli said.

Bryant is charged with two counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, a class 1 felony and a class 2 felony; and possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony, according to Kane County court records.

Bryant is listed in custody at the Kane County Jail in St. Charles, where his total bail for all charges has been set at $15,000.

Last year, Bryant pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge from 2015 and was sentenced to 230 days in county jail, records show. In the past he has also been convicted of misdemeanor criminal trespass to land and retail theft, according to Kane and Kendall county records.
