Back in September, RedEye premiered Chicago band the Peekaboos’ new album “Help Stop Decay” and it quickly rose to the top of our most-played local releases on the strength of its manic energy and quirkily-rendered punk barnstormers. Now, one of the best songs off that full-length has a new music video and its exclusively debuting below.
Made with Hickory Hills-based label DZ Records, the band built its own set, shot it themselves, making it a pretty DIY-affair much like the band’s ethos. According to band member Matt Rogoski, it was filmed by Ben Arguelles and Steven Edwards, with editing from Arguelles and lighting by Samantha Westerling.
