So we shouldn’t have to say this, but apparently some people need a little, um, refresher: Don’t have sex in your Uber, OK?
The fact that the rideshare company felt compelled to remind its passengers not to commit this sensual sin while in its vehicles is, frankly, downright embarrassing. Because obviously.
We know Uber has at times described itself as a ride-hailing service that “brings people together,” but we can assure you, they didn’t mean it THAT way. *smh*
Uber published its new Community Guidelines last week, which outlines examples of poor behavior that could cause riders to lose access to the service. The no-sex rule was just one of them.
“That’s no sexual conduct with drivers or fellow riders, no matter what,” Uber wrote.
The car service instructed passengers not to touch or “flirt” with other people in the car (aka keep your hands, feet and other objects to yourself).
“It’s OK to chat with other people in the car. But please don’t comment on someone’s appearance or ask whether they are single,” the company wrote.
So to put it nicely: No bumping uglies, boinking, aggressive cuddling or whatever you want to call it, in the back seat, front seat or over the center console (hey, to each one’s own) of an Uber vehicle. Got it?
If you’re going to “do it,” do it in the privacy of your OWN home.
