A Round Lake Beach man considered a suspect in a Nov. 20 robbery in Fox Lake was arrested by Lake County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday in Wisconsin, police said.
Sheriff’s Office Warrants Team members arrested Miguel J. Gonzalez, 26, who “was hiding at The Cove of Lake Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva,” according to sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Christopher Covelli.
Gonzalez was wanted on a Lake County arrest warrant for an aggravated robbery that occurred the evening of Nov. 20 in a vehicle near an apartment facility at Lincoln and Adams avenues in Fox Lake, according to village police.
Fox Lake Deputy Police Chief Jimmy Lee said at the time there were two victims, a male and a female, and that the suspect, who was not named at that time, and at least one of the victims knew each other.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash, Lee said.
On Nov. 21, Fox Lake officers obtained the arrest warrant for Gonzalez, stemming from the alleged robbery. The warrant was then filed with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division.
Officers with the warrants team, the Lake Geneva Police Department, and the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office took Gonzalez into custody Tuesday after locating him in his hotel room, Covelli said.
Gonzalez is being held in Walworth County Jail, where he will be held pending an extradition hearing, officials said.
