A 38-year-old Oak Lawn woman has been charged with drunken driving after a Monday evening crash between her vehicle and a Pace bus on Aurora’s East Side.
Tracy L. O’Connor, 38, of the 8800 block of Mobile Avenue, was driving a 2001 Ford Mustang eastbound on Ogden Avenue when her car struck the rear passenger side of a Pace bus, which had been westbound on Ogden and was turning left onto southbound Meadow Lakes Boulevard, according to information from police reports and spokesman Dan Ferrelli.

O’Connor was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. She is next scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Dec. 13 at the DuPage County courthouse, according to police reports.
The bus driver was ticketed for failure to yield turning left.
Police reports list at least 27 passengers on the bus and one in the car. O’Connor was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for injuries to her head and chest, according to police reports. Paramedics also took O’Connor’s passenger to Rush-Copley.
One bus passenger, a 36-year-old man, complained of an injury to his right side and was also transported to Rush-Copley.
None of the injuries were life-threatening, Ferrelli said.
O’Connor has been charged with driving under the influence before. In April, O’Connor was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, driving on a suspended license, failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision and no insurance in the 5200 block of Southwest Highway in Oak Lawn, the Daily Southtown reported.
