A Lake Zurich man faces multiple felony charges after officers found him passed out in the driver seat to his car with drug paraphernalia nearby while parked in a lot in Lincolnshire, police said.

Kyle D. Buchschacher, 23, of Lake Zurich, was charged with two felony counts of aggravated driving under the influence, felony unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a narcotic instrument and driving with a revoked license, Lincolnshire police said in a news release.

After receiving a tip Nov. 8 of a possible drunken driver in the 400 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Lincolnshire officers observed Buchschacher and another passenger in the car both passed out, police said.

After knocking several times on the car window without a response, officers opened an unlocked car door, woke the two individuals and also spotted drug paraphernalia inside the car, police said. Police arrested Buchschacher following an investigation, the department said.

Buchschacher is being held in the Lake County Jail on a $25,000 bond, police said. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 14 in Waukegan.
