Two people were home early Wednesday morning when a house on Aurora’s East Side was hit by more than one round of gunfire, according to police.
The house, on the 100 block of North State Street, sustained an undetermined amount of damage when it was shot at about 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said in an email.
An 18-year-old man and 40-year-old woman who are relatives were home at the time of the shooting, Ferrelli said.
No one in the neighborhood, including the home’s occupants, gave police any information that would lead to a suspect description or determine whether the shooting occurred by someone on foot or in a vehicle, Ferrelli said.
