Someone broke into a liquor store on Aurora’s West Side early Tuesday morning.
Aurora police responded at about 3:50 a.m. Tuesday to an alarm at a liquor store on the 700 block of North Lake Street, police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said in an email. The glass of the two front doors had been smashed with a blunt object and several packs of cigarettes were strewn about inside the business, Ferrelli said.
Store officials were not able to tell if anything was missing, Ferrelli said. The damage is worth about $600, according to police.
Police do not yet have any suspects in the burglary.
