A: Covered In Chocolate
Q: What do you sell?
A: We sell chocolate candies, fudge and chocolate and caramel sauce.
Q: How did you get started making chocolates?
A: In college, I started making it because I was always broke. I gave it as gifts.
Q: Where did you go to college?

A: I went to Western Illinois University. Then I studied at the Ecole Chocolat in British Columbia.
Q: What are the big trends in candy-making?
A: Sea salt-covered caramel is still big and chocolate-covered garlic or chocolate-covered bacon. But I don’t make those. I’ve tasted the chocolate covered bacon and you just keep chewing and chewing.
Q: What is your most popular item?
A: The chocolate pretzel balls. They have an edible shimmer. And our truffles are one of our biggest sellers.
Q: What’s your favorite movie?
A: “Big” with Tom Hanks. I just like the innocence of childhood.
Q: Who should play you in a movie?
A: I’ve been told I resemble Kathy Bates.
Q: What’s your favorite food?
A: Chocolate, followed by pizza.
Q: What’s your pet peeve?
A: Men who don’t remove their hats indoors.
Q: What’s on your bucket list?
A: I’m going to live a long time so I don’t have one yet.
