If you’re in the mood for wine, craft beer, oysters, pizza or blues bands, upcoming festivals will serve you well.

Kicking things off this weekend are the Craft Beer Fest at Lockport Moose Lodge, Rocktoberfest at Pollyanna Brewing Company in Lemont and Oyster Fest at Tribes Alehouse in Tinley Park.

Events later in the month and beyond include the annual Frankfort Wine & Ale Walk, the annual Round Barn Farm Wine Festival, One Trick Pony Brewery’s bash and the inaugural Blues & Brews on Route 66.

Tribes Oyster Fest and Golf Outing

Tribes Alehouse, 9501 W. 171st St. in Tinley Park, will host its annual Oyster Fest, a full raw bar in ode to the Galway Oyster & Seafood Festival in owner Niall Freyne’s birthplace, from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and noon to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Oysters from the East and West coasts (priced from $2.75 to 3.75 each) shucked on the spot by the Tribes crew will be offered along with King crab legs, jumbo shrimp, clams, ceviche, umi and more. The fest also will have limited-edition beers from Ballast Point, the San Diego-based brewery, in honor of its 20th anniversary.

On Monday, Sept. 19, Tribes will host its inaugural golf outing, “For the Love of Beer,” at Old Oak Country Club, 14200 S. Parker Road in Homer Glen. The $125 fee includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, a gift bag, on-course refreshments, lunch, contests and beer. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with shotgun at 11 a.m. Awards and a pig roast on the Tribes patio will follow. Individuals can sign up solo or as a foursome at Tribes.

Craft Beer Fest at Lockport Moose

Five local breweries – Pollyanna in Lemont, Arrowhead in New Lenox, Metal Monkey in Romeoville, Hailstorm in Tinley Park and Miskatonic in Darien – will offer brews from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Lockport Moose Lodge 1557, located at 118 E. 10th St.

Tickets are $25 each or two for $45. Music will be provided by the Railway Gamblers and food will be available. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Pollyanna Rocktoberfest

Fruhauf Oktoberfest lager, food from Weber Grill and music will be featured at Saturday’s Rocktoberfest from 3 to 11 p.m. at Pollyanna Brewing Company, 431 Talcott Ave. in Lemont. Admission is $10 and includes a souvenir stein (while supplies last). Pours of craft beer cost $5.

Round Barn Farm Wine Festival

The Manhattan Park District Foundation’s ninth annual Wine Festival will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Baker/Koren Round Barn Farm, 24115 S. US Highway 52 in Manhattan.

Tickets are $20 in advance online and $25 at the door. Tickets include eight tastings, which end at 8:30 p.m., and a souvenir wine glass. Beer also will be available for purchase. The Hat Guys will perform and food will be provided by Parmesan’s Wood Stone Pizza. The event also will have a silent auction and raffles with prizes including a two-night getaway.

Frankfort Wine & Ale Walk

The fifth annual Wine & Ale Walk will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 25 throughout historic downtown Frankfort.

The ticketed event is open to those 21 and older and will feature 19 wine and ale stops at merchant shops and seven appetizer and dessert stops at local restaurants. Live music throughout the business district will include the German Horn Trio near the Frankfort Area Historical Society Museum, Jerry Armstrong on the Breidert Green stage and the Road Unknown on the Trolley Barn patio.

Blues & Brews on Route 66

The inaugural Blues & Brews on Route 66 will be from 5 to 11 p.m. Sept. 30 at Chicago and Van Buren streets in downtown Joliet.

Bands will include the Chicago Blues Angels, T-Bird Huck & the MVPs, Skip Griparis, Shawn Holt & the Teardrops and Li’l Ed & the Blues Imperials. Participating breweries include Banging Gavel, Firestone, Empirical, Finch’s and 51st Ward.

Tickets are $5 for general admission (where food and Budweiser will be available for purchase) or $40 for VIP including access to VIP Brew Fest, a commemorative glass and 15 samples. Proceeds go to the Joliet Park Foundation.

One Trick Pony Anniversary Party

One Trick Pony Brewery, located at 17845-17851 Chappel Ave. in Lansing, will host its fourth anniversary party from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 1.

The “Be-In,” likened to a San Francisco-style music fest in the ’60s, will feature food, a bottle release, beer tastings from Pollyanna, Cahoots, Middle Brow, Dryhop and others and music by Metropolly, 13 Tikis and the house band Low-Reen & the Maxwell Street Blues Band. Frankfort Fall Wine Tasting

The Frankfort Park District will host a fall wine tasting from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 18 at Founders Community Center, 140 Oak St.

Tickets are $15 and include samples of 50 different wines, hors d’oeuvres and a souvenir wine glass. Pre-registration is required by Nov. 16. Wines also will be available for purchase.
