Buffalo Grove police are investigating a death near the Riverwalk office complex.
According to Buffalo Grove Deputy Police Chief Roy Bethge, an individual appears to have died after leaping off one of the structures in a possible suicide. The north garage is seven stories tall, and the south garage is five. During business hours, a security firm patrols the property. It is unclear whether the facility is patrolled overnight.
Lake County Coroner Thomas Rudd confirmed Friday morning that his office had been alerted to the death, but he could not immediately provide any further information.
The Riverwalk offices are located on the northeast corner of the Milwaukee Avenue/Lake Cook Road interchange, immediately west of the Des Plaines River.
