Brian Urlacher—hair and all—is about to get a lot more air time in Chicago.

The legendary linebacker, along with former Bears teammate Alex Brown, is joining Comcast SportsNet Chicago’s NFL coverage this season.

Urlacher will make his debut Sept. 15 as part of a weekly show titled “The Hard Count with Brian Urlacher.” He’ll hardly be alone, however, as host Mark Schanowski, former Bears quarterback Jim Miller and former Bears coach Dave Wannstedt also will be on the show.

You’ll get to see Brown even sooner, as the former defensive lineman will make his CSN debut Sept. 11 with “Bears Pregame Live” before his old team kicks off the season at Houston. He also will be part of the network’s “Bears Postgame Live” program.

Never one to mince words, Urlacher worked as an analyst for Fox Sports 1 about a year after he retired from football in 2012. He raised eyebrows on occasion, including when he revealed that the Bears had a “designated dive guy” who faked injuries to slow an opponent’s offensive momentum. Urlacher also recently became known for replacing his trademark bald look with a full head of hair earlier this year.

Brown spent eight of his nine years in the NFL with the Bears, recording 43.5 sacks in a Chicago uniform.
