Six people were hurt after a pileup on the Eisenhower Expressway on the West Side of the city Sunday night.

Four or five cars collided around 8:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 290 near Ashland Avenue, according to the Illinois State Police.

Two people were taken in fair condition to Stroger Hospital and two others were taken in fair condition to University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital. One person was taken in fair condition and another was taken in good condition to Rush University Medical Center, according to Chicago Fire Department media officials. One person refused medical attention at the scene.

No one was seriously injured, according to the Illinois State Police.

No other information was available about the accident.
