A Wheaton man is scheduled to appear in DuPage County court Wednesday on child pornograhy charges, officials said.
Jeffrey L. Long, 32, of the 400 block of Westwood Drive, was charged July 7 with three counts of possession of child pornography and one count of disseminating child pornography, according to Wheaton police.

Long has pleaded not guilty to the charges, officials said.
Wheaton police Sgt. P.J. Youker said Long was discovered with a “large number” of files containing sexual images of prepubescent children on computers and other devices after the department received a tip through the Internet Crimes Against Children unit of the Illinois attorney general’s office.
Long allegedly shared one or more of the images online, police said.
