In case ordering books online was too blasé for your tastes, Amazon is now opening its very first brick-and-mortar Chicago bookstore.
Seattle was #blessed with the first physical store two years ago, and now the Southport Corridor in Lakeview will be getting the second come 2017.

Amazon Books will be moving into the old Mystic Celt digs at 3443 N. Southport Ave. Prices will be comparable to those found on Amazon.com, but the selection will be a little bit less expansive than the anything-you-could-ever-want offerings online.
The 7,200-square-foot store will determine its in-store stock with titles that have the highest rankings on Amazon’s site and Goodreads.
We’re not that special, though. Amazon is also planning on opening stores in San Diego, New York City and Portland.
