The following items were taken from the official reports and press releases of the Winnetka Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Winnetka

Theft

*An unsecured vehicle in the 800 block of Prospect Avenue was entered and a key fob taken, according to an August 15 report. The amount of loss is $200.

*Two bicycles were taken from an unlocked garage in the 500 block of Meadow Road, according to an August 20 report. The amount of loss is $860.38.

Fraud

*A resident of the 600 block of Garland Avenue reported on August 17 that someone illegally used their personal identifiers to open a Comcast account. The amount of loss is $1,095.12.

Domestic battery

*Brian Patrick Hill, 53, of the 400 block of Provident Avenue in Winnetka, was charged with domestic battery on August 19.

Traffic

*Peter Sung Ju Kim, 43, of the 2700 block of Prince Street in Northbrook, was charged in the 300 block of Auburn Avenue on August 21 with driving on a suspended driver’s license, improper lane usage, damage to village property and failure to give information after striking other property.
