A man was shot to death and five other people were wounded in shootings in Chicago on Monday, according to police.

The man, 68, was shot in the head about 10:05 a.m. in the 2600 block of South Indiana Avenue, police said. They described the shooting as “domestic-related” though it was not clear why he was shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Most recently, about 7:30 p.m., a 51-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side, police said. The man was driving in the 7600 block of South Ashland Avenue when someone in another vehicle pulled up next to him and fired shots. The man was shot in the right hand and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
About 4:45 p.m. on the South Side, a 22-year-old man was shot in the foot in the 4700 block of South Prairie Avenue in the Bronzeville neighborhood, police said. He was taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition.
About 11:30 a.m. on the West Side, a 24-year-old man walked into West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to his groin, police said. He told officers he had been shot in Chicago, in the 400 block of North Central Avenue, near Lake Street, by two people who walked up to him and started shooting. He was otherwise uncooperative, police said, and later transferred to Stroger Hospital.
About 9:45 a.m. on the West Side, two people were shot near Madison Street and Whipple Avenue near Garfield Park, police said. The two made their way to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized. A 49-year-old woman was shot in the leg, and a 35-year-old man in the leg and arm. Both were stable, police said.
No one was in custody.
