
At least 12 people were shot, one fatally, in Chicago from Monday afternoon through early Tuesday, including three teens wounded in Bronzeville, police said.
A 15-year-old boy and two 18-year-old men were walking through an alley in the 200 block of East 48th Street around 10:05 p.m. when someone in a white T-shirt fired at them, police said.
The boy was shot in the back and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said. One of the men was shot in left shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized. The other 18-year-old was grazed in the back and declined medical attention, police said.
Around 3:55 a.m. Tuesday, a man in his 20s was shot to death in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, police said. The man was hit in the back in the 3800 block of West Roosevelt Road. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said. He was later pronounced dead. Authorities identified the man as Aaron Marquise Brown, of the 3300 block of West Madison, and his death was ruled a homicide.

* Also around 3:55 a.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in the leg in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side, police said. He told police he was standing outside in the 1400 block of North Harding Avenue when five attackers — four males and one female — approached and fired shots. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
* About 1:50 a.m., a 20-year-old man was wounded in the leg in the Little Village neighborhood, police said. The man was in the 2400 block of South Sacramento Avenue when he was shot. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition.
* About 12:45 a.m., an 18-year-old man was wounded in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, police said. The man was standing on the street in the 2100 block of South Harding Avenue when three attackers approached and fired shots. He was shot in the groin and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
* About 12:10 a.m., a 21-year-old woman was wounded in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side, police said. The woman was standing outside with a group of people in the 5100 block of South Hermitage Avenue when someone fired shots. The woman was hit in the right foot and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, police said.

* About 8:50 p.m. Monday, a 23-year-old man was wounded in the Little Village neighborhood, said Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago police spokesman. The man was walking in the 2200 block of South Western Avenue when a group of people confronted him and shots were fired. He was hit in the left hand and went to St. Anthony Hospital, Zala said.
* A 19-year-old man was shot as he rode a bicycle in the 10100 block of South Avenue L, police said. He walked into Advocate Trinity Hospital about 3:05 p.m. and was transferred to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. He was shot in the abdomen.
* A 28-year-old man was shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood and walked into Norwegian American Hospital, police said. Someone in a car shot at him in the 3300 block of West Augusta Avenue about 2:45 p.m., police said.
* A man walked into Mount Sinai Hospital Monday morning with gunshot wounds to his legs and shoulder, police said. The 43-year-old had been shot near Fillmore Street and Sacramento Avenue about 10 a.m. Residents near that intersection called 911 to report shots fired, police said.
