Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Earlier this year, Chicago musician Adam Gil released an excellent EP “Face The Sun” through his anagrammatically-titled moniker Dam Gila. While back then RedEye premiered the single “Slow Burn,” today we’re exclusively debuting the video for my favorite song on the project: “What Fire.” Directed by Druid Beat, Gil says this of the fun, colorful clip: “Over time it becomes clear that we must constantly fight the mundane, and ensure that the fire within will always remain.” Watch below and see for yourself.
Catch Dam Gila play Chicago’s Rutcorp with the Living Hour and RedEye-approved Sonny Falls on Sunday, Sept. 18 while Gil’s other band YAWN is playing Moonlight Studios tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 13.
