In case you needed any more evidence that hipsters exist solely to ruin everything, a Whole Foods in Brooklyn—hipster mecca—decided it was a good idea to create a LaCroix cake.
Behold, the monstrosity in all its glory:
This is taking it too far, people. Let us enjoy our sparkling water without knowing that somewhere, somehow, a 31-year-old in Brooklyn is cracking open a cold can of LaCroix in his overpriced (yet grungy) loft as he sucks on his vape and listens to The Clash.
LaCroix is not yours, New York hipster trash. LaCroix was born and bred in the Midwest. If any big city has a claim to selling ridiculous confections bearing LaCroix’s likeness, it is Chicago. So step off and, for the love of God, just stop.
The cakes sold for $80 a piece. If you love LaCroix so much, you damn posers, you should spend that money on actual cases of LaCroix.
