Eric Linden, 61, of Forest Park answered a few questions for the Oak Leaves on July 28 while relaxing in Scoville Park.

Q: Favorite local restaurant?

A: Winberie’s Restaurant & Bar. The salmon there is delicious.

Q: Summer activity you look forward to?

A: Rally Day at our church, First United Methodist Church of Oak Park.

Q: Any pets?

A: Yes, we have cats. Currently, we have five.

Q: Travel destination of choice?

A: Oh my. My wife, Rae Kalin, and I used to go to Mexico for years and years. Cabo San Lucas. The first time we went [was] when we were married, on our honeymoon, and we just kept going back. … Rae took me to New York City one time. Manhattan was great fun.

Q: Cubs or White Sox?

A: I like the Sox more than the Cubs, so if I had to pick, the Sox. I’m more of a basketball fan. I really like the Bulls.

Q: What do you make of recent changes within the Bulls, like Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah leaving?

A: They can’t get worse, can they? So they’re getting better.
