Country music star Miranda Lambert got emotional during her Friday concert at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, People magazine reports.

Lambert, a seven-time Academy of Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year award winner, began to cry while performing “Over You,” a song she co-wrote with then-husband, fellow country music star and “The Voice” judge Blake Shelton.

The former couple wrote the song about the death of Shelton’s older brother in a car accident.

Lambert, 32, told the audience she was hormonal and dealing with cramps. She also began crying while performing “The House That Built Me.”

The tears came a day after Shelton opened up to Billboard about his relationship with fellow “Voice” judge Gwen Stefani and his divorce from Lambert.

“I told you I was a mess,” Lambert told the crowd.
