National Chicken Wing Day is today, apparently. Did you know that? Not me. And neither, until yesterday, did Honey Butter Fried Chicken. But the Avondale restaurant is on it now and, to quote its just-issued press release, “getting wingy with it.”
How? “A bucket of 20 whole wings for 20 bucks — your choice of buffalo or sweet chili glaze,” the announcment reads. “Come and get it.”
The restaurant’s usual wing offering is simply a single order for $8, so take advantage of the deal, which runs 11 am. to 10 p.m. Friday or until supplies run out. Available for dine-in or carryout.
