Premiere: Chicago’s Bad Bad Meow has a solid single in ‘Hear You’

Since I’ve known about Chicago’s Bad Bad Meow, one of this city’s many talented and hilariously-titled bands, I’ve always associated them with Americana. In fact, “Acoustic Country Punk” is the way they described themselves on their website. But now that I’ve heard their stompin’ rocker “Hear You,” which is you can hear below via RedEye, there’s no apt genre descriptor for a sound this fully-throated, raw and undeniably excellent.

Listen below. The song is off their recent EP “Pretty Famous People.”
