President Obama and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto went to Ottawa, Canada this week to meet Canadian President Justin Trudeau to discuss trade and the economy at what is being called the Three Amigos Summit.
But it seems like Obama and Trudeau have a bromance that Peña Nieto just can’t seem to break into.
After fumbling a three-way handshake (0:18), Peña Nieto received another devastating blow from the other two North American leaders when they motioned him down the stage only to stay onstage to admire the surrounding cityscape. Not to be left out, Peña Nieto went back onstage and stood by the two Presidents as they finished their banter.
After, Peña Nieto made sure not to repeat his fumble by making Trudeau go down the steps first.
