Sure, you could go see some funny blockbuster to get your comedy fix. But if like your laughs more unpredictable, there’s improv at SAK Comedy Lab.
SAK has shows five nights a week in its downtown Orlando theater. Their scenes, songs and gags are completely made up on the spot.
Some shows are competition-based, where performers battle it out in short scenes to earn the most points or applause. Others are long-form improv, where players take their time and tell a more fleshed-out story.
The actors will need help from the audience to inspire their scenes. You can yell out what you did last weekend, then watch your words come to life in a goofy way.
Tickets range from $5 for a student performance to $14 to see the pros. Be sure to ask for the Florida resident rate.
