The Summer Film Series at Millennium Park has one open slot for a screening and is asking people to pick their favorite movie among a list of 20 made in Chicago as the final film to be shown for the season. The movie with the most votes at chifilmfave.org by Aug. 16 will play on a 40-foot screen at the park Aug. 30.

And now, the nominees are: 1980s classics including “The Blues Brothers,” “Risky Business” and “Adventures in Babysitting,” funny films such as “Home Alone” and “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and even nods to Chicago’s gangster history with “Public Enemies” and “The Untouchables.”

Or choose an action-packed flick such as “Backdraft,” “The Fugitive,” “The Dark Knight” and “Transformers 3.” Other options are “Barbershop,” “The Color of Money,” “Divergent,” “Love Jones,” “While You Were Sleeping,” “Road to Perdition” and the Oscar-winning “Ordinary People.” Of course, there’s a John Cusack movie in the mix — “High Fidelity” — and the timely biopic “Ali.”

There’s also the option of adding a write-in candidate.

The series gets underway June 21, with “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” The movie starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
