Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

There’s something about Martin $ky’s airy and spacious production for Melo’s new song “Evicted,” a collaboration with Evanston’s Kweku Collins, that’s incredibly easy to get lost in. Synths flutter and bass thumps throughout the track, which is exclusively premiering with RedEye below, enveloping Melo’s raspy yelps and Collins’ smooth flow.

Though not as much of an instantly-palatable anthem as Melo’s last single “Murphy’s Law,” which was also produced by Martin $ky and also features backup vocalist Tatiana Hazel, “Evicted” is still an unequivocal banger. With the assist from Collins, who has one of my favorite projects of the year in “Nat Love,” the whole thing is just a total winner. Listen below.
