The Miami New Times is reporting that the Miami Marlins have been involved in litigation against a number of season-ticket holders.

The report says the team has sued after the ticket holders for backing out of multiple-year contracts. The New Times quoted one of the litigants, who alleged a number of season-ticket benefits that had been promised but later were not provided, leading to his discontinuing payment for his tickets.
