A Mundelein store sold a Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million after Tuesday’s drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Circle K gas station at 1991 W. Maple Ave. and matched the first five numbers — 12, 22, 46, 56 and 74 — but not the Gold Ball (4), according to a release from the Illinois Lottery.
The winner should sign the back of the ticket and take it to one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights, according to the release. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize. Circle K will receive $10,000 for selling a winning ticket.
