Jonathan Toews finally seems to be getting a handle on this Twitter thing. The Blackhawks captain, who turned 28 on Friday, created an account in February.
Seeing as the Hawks were eliminated from the playoffs by St. Louis a week ago, Toews now has time to troll and be trolled, if that’s how he chooses to spend his time.
It started with a simple birthday wish from teammate Patrick Kane, which was on time but did include a little something extra.
Toews followed up five days later on Wednesday with a jab.
BTW, Kane has 767,000 followers while Toews has about 127,000. Kane did some chirping on his own before giving the captain what he apparently wanted all along.

With that all squared away, Toews turned his attention to more, er, important matters.
Luckily he had teammate Scott Darling to set him straight. Sort of.
