A 35-year-old St. Charles man is free on a personal recognizance bond after his arrest on charges he fondled a female teenager earlier this year, according to court records.
Brian Richardson was in court Friday for his first formal appearance since an April 8 warrant was issued accusing him of two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving a female between the age of 13 and 17.
The incidents occurred between Jan. 1 and March 8, documents show. Richardson was released on $75,000 recognizance – meaning he had to post no money to be released from custody – following a bond hearing April 14.
The Kane County Child Advocacy Center handled the investigation.
Richardson is scheduled to return to court for a status hearing June 3.
