The NHL Playoffs are set to begin Wednesday night, and with them comes the Blackhawks’ favorite time of the year.

Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville joined the team in the 2008-09 season, which was also the second NHL seasons for Blackhawks stars Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. Since the team’s playoff berth that year, the Blackhawks have played in the Western Conference Finals five times. They’ve played in the Stanley Cup Final three times, winning the Cup on all three trips.

The 117 playoff games played in those seven years are the most in the NHL, and 29 more games than the next closest team (the New York Rangers, 88 playoff games played). The Blackhawks’ 73 playoff wins are by far the most in that span, and those wins account for more than 10 percent of all playoff wins during that time.
