When Phase One of the North Coast Music Festival 2016 lineup was unveiled, it was just another entry of an absolutely stacked slate of Chicago festivals this summer has to offer. Now, organizers have announced the 2016 bill for Mamby on the Beach. When you look at the acts playing, it’s obvious that if you liked the North Coast bill, you’ll love this.
Happening Saturday, July 2, and Sunday, July 3, at Oakwood Beach, the festival will be expanding to three stages and will feature acts as notable as Chet Faker, Milky Chance, Animal Collective, Santigold, Atmosphere and Chromeo. Other artists playing include Tale of Us, Lupe Fiasco, Seth Troxler, Tycho, Black Coffee, Kaytranada, Betty Who, Rya Hemsworth, Mayer Hawthorne, Loco Dice, Monte Booker and Ravyn Lenae, Thomas Jack, Wild Belle, Derrick Carter, Miami Horror, Gallant, FKJ, Julio Bashmore, Small Balck, Hannah Wants and more. That’s a solid bill from front to back, especially Animal Collective, Santigold, local favorites Monte Booker, Lupe Fiasco, Wild Belle and Derrick Carter, and rising crooner Gallant.
