In “everything we ever wanted” and “of course he did” news, Tom Hiddleston–aka our favorite bad guy, Loki–gave the morning weather report on Fox 32 news Thursday.
He of course took the thunderstorms in the forecast as an opportunity to jab his on-screen “brother from another mother,” Thor Odinson. While we’d like to stay out of the sibling rivalry, we have to say Thursday’s weather makes Hiddleston’s point seem valid.
“The god of thunder has brought his skill set to bear on the local weather,” he said. “All that means is Chris Hemsworth has taken his hammer … he’s smashing it against the surface of the sky and it’s going to rain a hell of a lot.”
And rain it did. While weather forecasters can sometimes be on the receiving end of Chicago’s ire (thanks, lake effect), Hiddleston is one pseudo-meteorologist we can get behind. Despite his intergalactic scheming, Loki is one charming news personality.
