
Grubhub CEO Matt Maloney’s compensation rose to $8.3 million in 2015, the year after the food ordering and delivery service went public (Nasdaq: GRUB). He earned nearly $3.6 million in 2014.
His base salary grew to $600,000 from $400,000. Maloney ? received 89 percent of his compensation in stock options worth about $7.4 million that will vest over four years, according to an annual proxy filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.

Maloney received a $273,600 bonus for reaching more than 91 percent of performance targets.
Maloney’s base pay is slated to rise 3.3 percent this year to $620,000. His 2015 compensation rose because his responsibilities increased after Grubhub became a public company in 2014, the company said.
