Montgomery officials are already making plans for Montgomery Festival, set for the second weekend in August.

For over three decades, the annual event at the corner of River and Mill streets has brought residents downtown along the Fox River.

The fee for a craft booth at the festival is $35, for all three days of the event, Aug. 12 to 14. Commercial booths are available for a $125 fee. Electricity is an additional $30.

Nonprofit, school or religious organizations are also required to sign up for a space and submit an application. The booth in those cases comes free of charge but an application is required.

To obtain an application, go to https://ci.motgomery.il.us or call a village hall representative at 630-896-8080.

Each summer the festival includes a wide array of activities including a variety of bands, the Montgomery’s Got Talent Competition, a beer tent, car show, parade and fireworks.
