Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Until the White Sox become a playoff contender again, they might have to bend over backward to entice fans to attend their games.

That includes offering tickets for less than the price of a value meal at Kentucky Fried Chicken.

For the second time in as many years, the White Sox are offering a Ballpark Pass package, which this season costs $59 for 16 games in April and May. Doing some quick math, that’s about $3.69 per contest. These are the concessions you have to make when you finish 19 games out of first place in your division and 26th in overall attendance in 2015.

Everything is done on the MLB.com Ballpark app, so printing your tickets is not an issue. Fans also can purchase up to eight passes if they want to get a group in on the deal.

The catch? Well, there are several, but nothing extreme. The package includes only games on Mondays through Fridays and does not include the home opener.

You also can’t pick your seat. Fans who purchase the package will learn their seat location a few hours before each game start. They will be located in one of four places: Upper Corners, Upper Reserved, Outfield Reserved or Lower Corners. According to the White Sox, the seats are randomly selected in those four areas, though purchasers are guaranteed a lower-level seat at least once.

Still, for less than $4 a seat, how can you go wrong?
