Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

In Game 2 of the Western Conference finals last season, the Blackhawks’ Andrew Shaw scored double-overtime goal for the ages when he head-butted the puck in.

Only it didn’t count, because NHL rules state you can’t use anything other than your stick to intentionally put the puck in the net.

But the Washington Capitals’ Jason Chimera used his noggin in a legal way to score against Pittsburgh on Sunday, which is to say by accident. Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury tried to swat the puck past the oncoming Chimera, and somehow the puck flipped into the air, off Chimera’s head and past the sprawling Fleury.

Fast-forward to the 1-minute mark of the video to watch the magic happen.

And just for fun, below is Shaw’s goal.
