It’s almost the most wonderful time of beer, err, year, Chicago Craft Beer Week (May 19-29). Tickets for the kickoff event, Beer Under Glass (May 19) at Garfield Park Conservatory (300 N. Central Park Ave.), go on sale at 10 a.m. today. For the seventh year, beer nerds will unite at the plant paradise to sip about 250 brews from more 100 Illinois brewers and ring in the 11-day celebration of beer-centric events throughout the city. Along with a new rare beer tent, BUG features snacks and small plates from local restaurants, and ticket sales benefit the conservatory.
