I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I am a moderate Democrat/Republican, and I also have no great desire to see Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump as the next president. I consider myself to be very informed on politics from both perspectives. Given that, I find reading the Lake County News-Sun a difficult waste of my time. Is there a chance that, in the future, we maybe able to read and understand both sides of the aisle? I for one would relish the chance to see more “unbiased” editorials as opposed to always seeing the liberal slant on the major issues. Am I alone?

‘I … stand with Trump’
Have we, the voters of the U.S., forgotten that when Donald Trump first announced his intent to run for president he was pushed to support the Republican candidate? Now we have Marco Rubio and others bashing him. I, for one, stand with Trump. I feel people are finally hearing from the candidates about the real issues people are talking about at the dinner table with their families. Good Lord willing, we are strong and we’ll get through these tough times. I feel with everything that I’ve heard and seen on television our vote should go to Donald Trump. He says it like America wants to hear it.
The Donald and the Duke
How can Donald Trump stop David Duke from voting for him? This is an election and people get to vote for whoever they want. Do people expect Trump to tell this man not for vote for him?
