Alfonso Herrera and Ben Daniels will star in Fox’s “The Exorcist” pilot, based on the book by William Blatty and the iconic horror movie.
Herrera plays Father Tomas, a warm, selfless and compassionate leader of a small church. Daniels plays Father Marcus, an intense holy warrior carrying out an occupation that the church no longer acknowledges in public.
If picked up, the series would follow the two very different men as they tackle one family’s demonic possession case.
The pilot is slated to be filmed in Chicago this month, and 4 Star Casting announced it is looking for extras.
