Gurnee

Fundraiser: Paintball City, 4080 Morrison Drive, will host a charity event to benefit the Lake County teen court program and the Gurnee Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 266. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, play paintball against officers from the Gurnee Police Department. Teen court is an alternative to the traditional justice system for first-time youth offenders ages 10-18. Teen court sentences are determined by a volunteer jury of teen peers. Successful completion prevents the youth from having a court record for the offense. Lake County teen court is run by Nicasa Behavioral Health Services. The Gurnee Fraternal Order of Police Social Lodge 266 is a charitable organization that gives back to the local community. An entry fee of $25 covers equipment rental and 140 rounds of ammunition. Reservations are not required, but are welcome. Reservations can be made by calling Paintball City at 224-610-0221.
