Elmhurst
Battery
Brittni Venters, 38, of the 500 block of North Indiana Street, Elmhurst, was charged with domestic battery at 2:25 a.m. Jan. 26.
Christopher Zimmerman, 45, of the 100 block of East Cayuga Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged with domestic battery at 2:22 a.m. Jan. 24.
Burglary
The window of a vehicle was shattered and items inside were taken while it was parked on the 100 block of South West Avenue between 11:45 a.m. and 2:23 p.m. Jan. 21.
Someone entered a vehicle, broke off the rear view mirror, punctured a window, cracked the windshield and wrote graffiti on the driver side window while it was parked in the 100 block of West Virginia Street between 7 a.m. on Jan. 22 and 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 23. Three other vehicles were burglarized in that block in the same time span.
Drugs
Michael Weinreis, 24, of the 100 block of North 13th Avenue, Melrose Park, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with tinted windows at 5:04 p.m. Jan. 25 at York Street and Belden Avenue.
Tracey A. Colletti, 38, of the 1000 block of West Devon Avenue, Park Ridge, was charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:33 a.m. Jan. 27 in the 900 block of South York Street.
Tammye D. Hamilton, 45, of the 100 block of Bellwood Avenue, Bellwood, was charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:33 a.m. Jan. 27 in the 900 block of South York Street.
Carlos Escobar, 19, of the 500 block of 24th Avenue, Bellwood, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of alcohol by a minor and driving with tinted windows at 4:29 p.m. Jan. 22 at Butterfield Road and Cadwell Avenue.
DUI

Becca Dick, 22, of the 4700 block of St. Joseph Creek Road, Lisle, was charged with driving under the influence, improper turn and use of an electronic communication device at 12:36 a.m. Jan. 23 in the 900 block of North York Street.
Theft
Patrick Fortney, 37, of the 0-100 block of South Roberta Avenue, Northlake, was charged with retail theft at 2:33 a.m. Jan. 27 at Jewel Osco, 944 S. York St.
The tailgate of a truck was removed while parked in the 400 block of West Wrightwood Avenue sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 11:44 a.m. on Jan. 21.
A spare tire cover was taken from a vehicle while parked at the West Hall parking lot, 190 S. Prospect Ave., around 4:36 p.m. on Jan. 21.
Two packages were taken from the front porch of a home in the 200 block of South Fairview Avenue around 3 p.m. on Jan. 21.
Trespassing
Grayson Murtagh, 18, of the 1100 block of Virginia Court, Bartlett, was charged with trespassing to property and consumption of alcohol by a minor at 8:17 p.m. Jan. 22 in the 100 block of South York Street.
