The talent show ran Friday night in the Burlington Central High School auditorium. King and Doody-Catalano sat on a couch on one side of the stage and introduced each of the show’s 27 acts.
Doody-Catalano left the couch at one point so she could perform gymnastic feats with fellow student Morgan Sobota.
Other gymnasts that night included Libby Levine, Alyssa Bognetti and Madelyn Mucci.
There was a ribbon dance by Kayla and Sydney Batts, a magic show by Emma Peterson, a karate performance by Hanley Shipbaugh, art display by Emily Lennon, a comedy act by Owen Hardekopf, and a drum solo by Ryder Bergemann.

Alyssa Ferreira, Ella Scherer, Addison Steele and Ava Jeinieh danced to “Love Myself” by Hailee Steinfeld.
Other dance numbers were performed by Makenna Herman, Olivia Carey, Nora Hardekopf and Lina Rajcevich.
Wearing tie-dyed, fringed shirts and tights, Maddie Oranski and Maci Steele danced to “Glad You Came” by The Wanted.
Isela and Iliana Barajas combined dancing and tumbling to the tune “Lips are Moving” by Meghan Trainor.
Victoria Ortiz and Kennedy Sreckov sang and danced to the song “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift.
Jaden Jack, wearing a black hat, red jacket and a single white glove, danced to “Beat It” by Michael Jackson.
Angela Vesper sang “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten, Ashli Bonds and Lola Mugavero sang “Cup Song” by Anna Kendrick, Joselyn Vallardes sang “Bright” by Echosmith, Merissa Tosello sang “Rainbow Connection” by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher, and Emily Leggett, dressed in jungle cat attire, sang “Roar” by Katy Perry.
PTO members Kelly Massa and Melody Smith co-chaired the talent show.
The Country Trails cougar mascot was on hand to escort performers onto center stage. He also danced along with the “Tiger Boo” number.
King thanked Central High Principal Chris Testone and the high school in general for allowing Country Trails to perform in its auditorium. King also thanked Country Trails’ parents, staff, teachers, and volunteers.
The high school’s tech crew ran the sound and light equipment for the talent show.
“They made the night special,” King said. “They offered wonderful theatrical support.”
